New Ohio Poll Shows McCain Leading Obama First poll to question likely voters By 700WLW News Friday, September 12, 2008 ( Cincinnati ) The latest Ohio Poll, conducted by the Institute for Policy Research at the University of Cincinnati, shows John McCain holding a slight lead over Brack Obama. 48% of likely voters said they would vote for McCain, versus 44% for Obama. This is the first poll to question likely voters and was done over the phone from September 5th to the 10th and has a margin of error of 3.5%.
