except these days in the bear market many executives are just spooked about stocks period and are selling way too quickly in all cases. There were very few google executives that held on to most of their initially granted stock past the $350 mark. Most sold as fast as they could, not because they saw any issues for google but because the whole valley is afraid of stocks.

One guy David Drummond held on to all his stock.

There are dozens of stories where executives doubled down on stocks in 2001 and were completely wiped out ala Bernie Ebbers.
