I've heard that many of our State Department people come from Columbia, which I think is regrettable. I think they should come from the real world.

That's no kidding. We've got this nasty habit of electing people to positions of power that have little to no practical life experience. We've GOT to stop placing lawyers in power....

Exactly. BO received his BA at Columbia.
Lib civil servants in the US State Dept have been leaking national secrets for years--they should be charged with treason.

While it had no connection to Columbia, one of its assistant professors was involved in the quiz show scandal. Anybody remember Charles Van Doren at this late date? He's 82 now and apparently has had a respectable life after Twenty One.

Anything that happens at Columbia is suspect, in my opinion.
