About Rapture:

That is when God is going to come back to take all CHRISTIANS... no others... up to heaven with him. It is imminent and the good going church persons and believer's are waiting for this to happen.'

As the very attractive, sophisticated woman at the gym told me honey don't worry about how our country is going. There is nothing we can do about this corruption and greed but it's all going to be over soon as the RAPTURE is coming soon.

Smile and over and out. She not ask me whether I was a devout Christian. Surprisingly so. I guess that is because I look like one. SMILE.

Where you live will determine how much of it you get exposed to. Where I live, the south, it's all around me...on the radio preachers, for example. The whole scenario has been a huge commercial success, spinning off books, movies, posters, T-shirts, mugs, you name it.

I have evangelical friends who have incorporated the theology expressed in the Left Behind books into their own theology. As a craze, though, I think it's dying down.

Google up the Left Behind books and/or rapture or millenium to learn more than you'll ever want to know.

Also, Moose, you can read the Book of Revelations, the last book of the NT, for an introduction to John's vision of the end of the world as we know it. And you'll get to know the terminology found in end of times preaching.
