However the Georgian president didn't have a problem blasting the US and the West publicly on the day he had to sign the ceasefire. C. Rice was standing right next to him during his rant.

I am sure there have been discussions...the incident shows clearly that membership in NATO should be taken very seriously and weighed carefully.
