However the Georgian president didn't have a problem blasting the US and the West publicly on the day he had to sign the ceasefire. C. Rice was standing right next to him during his rant.

I think he received as much support from the west as can be reasonably expected. Perhaps more.


That didn't stop him from ranting. I was shocked that he had the unmitigated gall. Rice just looked off into the distance. From what I know of the situation, she didn't deserve to be put down that way.
