If that NJ poll is in any way close, it is game over for Dems. Gore won by 16%, Kerry by 7%, and they both lost.

OTOH, lets assume that all the polls are correct (national and states). Maybe McCain is gaining in states he cannot win, but is not gaining enough in states he needs to win.

It is a very serious situation for Dems.

One thing that is starting to become more apparent is that we aren't just dealing with a post-convention bounce here -- this is the real thing.

There's a lot of time to go, but if you are a Dem you really have to be getting concerned. And they are.
