Field dressing deer has been a near religious experience for me, on the one hand you have the biology thing and on the other you see organs as large as your own - not like cleaning fish - it makes an impression. When I cook some deer sausage or steaks I remember the animal and feel lucky and privileged to have made the effort to take the animal myself - in addition to the fact it's organic with no chemicals to my knowledge and tasty. Are you Ted Nugent in disguise?
