Sam,

One of the interesting things about all of this, and I believe others have said this as well, is that it is going to destroy McCain's ability to govern. How can he get bipartisan support after the campaign he has run if he gets himself elected.

One thing that Clinton was right about was how the Republicans would go after Obama and how the Obama campaign, at least up until recently, has been unprepared in responding forcefully. I have seen a change in the last week but they will need to be more forceful on the campaign trail as well as with their advertisements. I also thing Kate was right and I was wrong in Obama not needing Clinton as a running mate, at least that is the way it seems to me now. I think Clinton could have and would have been more forceful in fighting back. Biden hasn't really gotten much play and he hasn't helped with the onslaught as of yet. As for governing, I still think Biden was a better choice and if Obama can figure the right way to fight back and get elected, then Biden is the right choice.

One ad I would like to see is talking about all of the McCain lies and then someone saying, do you think he is telling the truth about being for change or is that just another lie?

Just the way I am feeling this morning. Anyway, I hope anyone in the way of Ike this morning a safe and speedy return to home and normalcy.

Neal
