Well copper and all other base metals outperform gold in this first phase of the commodity boom. Gold is now outperforming most/all comodities. I expect it will continue to outperform as this credit crisis intensifies. Copper is an industrial metal and its price will likely return to the mean. Of course, it may stay higher if the BRIC continue to expand. Byt that is far from certain.
