That's a beautiful post, Moose. Thanks for sharing it. When I was younger and hiking or climbing in the hills of Utah, I often was swept over with the feeling that hundreds of years before me Native Americans had walked that same ground. When we would stop to rest at a spot that had a sweeping view of the valley below, I pictured them seeing the same view and pondering the same mysteries of existence as I was. Like you said, moments like this leave one feeling very kindly and tolerant and caring for all religions and their followers regardless of differences in doctrine.
