How do you explain his confusion when he confused Auschwitz with Buchenwald? How do you explain Obama's totally amateurish blunder at AIPAC? How do you explain Obama's stupid claim he would meet with Iran's leader without preconditions? All these things had to be corrected after the fact, and were absolute blunders. I could list tens more, with ease. No i don't...this is nonsense. Okay. Then why is Obama afraid to face McCain head on in a forum that isn't totally controlled? Why has obama refused to face McCain in any environment where questions are not reasonably predictable and subject to being scripted? Why did Obama run from the concept of the townhalls, which would have served Americans well?I have watched mccain shamelessly refer to this as the justification for his caustically negative campaign of lies McCain did not refer to as "justification" for lies; while the campaign has sunk to significant lows, it is Obama doing it, not McCain. McCain is just responding in kind, which he has to do. Obama has gone severely negative as he has dropped in the polls -- much worse than before. Politics is not bean bag. These "He lied on me" claims are just bullshit; there has yet to be any comment from the McCain campaign that could properly be classified as a lie. There have been many that were attacks on Obama's previous statements (I would say "accomplishments", but there aren't any). He said the campaign would be much cleaner had Obama been willing to go head to head on the issues. And there is little doubt this is correct. If there were debating the issues, like grownups would do, the news media would not be fueling the war of nastiness between the two.Let me tell you, if obama had picked clinton for VP palin wouldn't get a second look. I think this is correct. But Obama was too weak and insecure to choose Hillary, and now, as a result, he's on the ropes. It was really poor judgment, but he made it and has to live with it.She is a store front for a weak mccain...he can't win on the issues, so he hires palin to woo crowds with good looks and a healthy dose of god, guns and guts. Well, she has good looks, no doubt. But to be fair, Obama has used "god" just as much as Palin has. I don't know if he is Muslim or Christian, but he certainly uses his religion when it is convenient for him to do so. I would say McCain's remarks on "guns and religion" caused him as much damage as any of the other stupid things he's said. Apparently, he doesn't realize that almost all of America has SOME religion they "cling" to.
