This was my take on the decision to talk about email (aside from the injury/POW aspect)

How many politicans have gotten into trouble through improvident use of email and text messaging? I think McCain is smart to keep away from those modes of communication. Many people are bewitched by the seeming informality of this kind of communication and end up hoisted by their own petards.
