That is why I posted the actual clip of her address I understand. You are saying that Gibson's interpretation is reasonable one but to watch and judge for yourself. I said at the time I thought her handlers had come up with the Lincoln quote after the fact. But her explanation also agreed with what she actually said, which wasn't what Gibson said she said. (Agh- he said she said moment) But do you not see what I am saying? (I said, you said moment) Your initial post indicated that you heard her saying it was GOd's plan, not what she really did say- that she PRAYED it was. And that clip also left off the next sentence, which reinforced the idea of wanting to be in line with God's plan, not claiming it WAS. All this just proves my point which is if you twist a quote, it sets this kind of stuff off, rather than allowing a more factual exploration of what she believes about this war. Speaking of which, if you look at the unedited parts of her interview, she says "And I do believe, though, that this war against extreme Islamic terrorists is the right thing." Which leads me to think she probably believes what you thought all along.
