"The trades are of interest. I take the quantities and values as what they are - internet posts that may or may not be real."

certainly. But after a year or so watching someone trade, they can not hide how they do.. I joined another board for about 10-11 years now and mostly the same group of people are still around and a good portion of the group made amazing profit year in and year out and they posted their trade, idea and discussion in real time(sometime in dollar amount and sometime in percentage of portfolio). Over the year, you can tell who is good at picking what kind of stocks and wether they just bs their way through..

I don't think we appreciate the power of internet of sharing information and knowledge. If we listen carefully enough, they can make us a lot of money. A few years back, Kyrsol mentioned RRI here and it was the first stock that I made 7 figure on. People who try to stop other from posting his/her own experience is simply letting their insecurity overriding their desire/need to do better in the stock market (or may be they are doing so well that they don't care.. they are just passing time bs'ing in internet 8-)). There is always an ignore button so why the need to stop someone? I would love to see a show of hand and find out how many of those folks made 20-30% compound the last 5 years?. If not, why stop other from posting because they are uncomfortable talking about money.
