Nonsense. She was sharp as a tack and cool as a cucumber. She handled some very tough questions in a dignified and competent manner.

I think that tide has stemmed. I think McCain stemmed it himself, with the flash-in-the-pan pick of Palin, and with the outrageous lies of the past week. He's forever damaged his brand as a straight shooter. His 'Country First' slogan is now a joke - I call him 'Country John McCain' because he clearly puts himself, not the country, first.
