hat former Republican Principles are those that you will now find in the Democrat Party? FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY. The republicans have taken the spend spend spend label and the dems are the responsible ones.

typical liberal lies, I was a repub but because of Bush I'm now a socialist. yeah that's believable. I was a Eugene MacCarthyite but because democrats didn't raise taxes enough I became a republican

I never said that I would now find them in the democratic party. Some of those principles are the right to bear arms, the principle of decentralization of power, respect for national sovereignty (at least ours), and respect for and adherence to the rule of law. With the exception of the first, I think the Bush administration has willfully disregarded the other three. Also respect for our constitutional principles of government. That should be visible in both parties. I think Bush has minimized this one also when it got in his way.
