Look at it this way. She and Todd considered 45% or 48% chance McCain wins, and she and he get pardons. <g>

Palin is extremely ambitious and a legend in her own mind.

McCain put her on the spot thinking only of himself.

I suspect they are using each other.

He's got clouded judgement for sure... shot from the hip. Sadly if he "wins" he'll think it was genius... regardless of if it's good for the country. Everyone thinks of "Victory" or "Defeat"... rather than longer term processes

He's not going to win! ;-)
