Tom we had rain all night but not severe.. We did not get heavy winds or thunder storms nor the predicted amount of rain here. Not yet anyway.. Rain was light this AM at doggie walking time.. Now the sun is breaking through.. Sky is cloudy but bright..

Windsor (across from Detroit) looks like it is dead centre... forecast says partly cloudy for now but heavy rainfall warning on for this evening...

I filled up my gas cans last night just in case..

Heaviest appears to be on the way.. later than expected..

Here is our Weather warning / forecast

FURTHERMORE THERE IS THE ADDITIONAL THREAT FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP GIVING LOCALLY EVEN HIGHER AMOUNTS. FOR AREAS FURTHER SOUTHEAST..INCLUDING THE TORONTO AND HAMILTON AREAS..AN ADDITIONAL 30 TO 40 MILLIMETRES ARE EXPECTED AS HEAVY RAIN FROM IKE MOVES THROUGH THIS EVENING.
