Daily Presidential Tracking Poll
Sunday, September 14, 2008

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows John McCain reaching the 50% level of support for the first time since Barack Obama wrapped up the Democratic Presidential Nomination. McCain retains a three-point advantage for the third straight day, 50% to 47% (see recent daily results).

Tracking Poll results are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day and a FREE daily e-mail update is available. Earlier, Rasmussen Reports reported tracking poll results both with and without leaners. Now that Election Day is drawing near, we will report only the results with leaners.

Voters are evenly divided as to who they think will win, but McCain voters are now more excited about the election than Obama’s. Rasmussen Markets data gives McCain a 52.3 % chance of victory while expectations for Obama are at 47.0 %. These figures are updated on a 24/7 basis by market participants.

McCain is viewed favorably by 57% of the nation’s voters while Obama earns positive reviews from 53% (see trends). McCain is supported by 90% of Republicans and has a six-point edge among unaffiliated voters. Eighty-two percent (82%) of Democrats say they’ll vote for Obama. I wonder what Caroline Kennedy is thinking now? She was the head of the committee to select Barack's VP. Talk about unintended consequences. She must feel like she's been run over by a freight train.

Heck, even I didn't know what the Bush Doctrine was when Charlie Gibson asked her about it the other night on her first national TV interview.

Willie Brown is the only honest lib out there, at least on that topic! :-)

To Willie Brown: Obama already has ACORN registering the 12 million OR SO blacks you talked about....It's the OR SO that most of us should worry about....Are they dead people? People with assumed names? ILLEGALS?

But Mr. Brown, you are really right about this..

Palin has become an instant heroine with the Wal-Mart crowd in Ohio, Nevada, Pennsylvania and other critical states. And Wal-Marters are a lot more likely to volunteer or show up at the polls than the younger people Obama has attracted.

The difference is that the Wal-Mart'ers and like minded people will volunteer for FREE, while the young folks Obama has amassed more than likely are being paid by Moveon.org and or Soros, aka ACORN.

Signed,
Just another Lipsticker for Palin
