The Obama campaign is changing their approach and they've proven they can course correct when necessary...and don't rush to any judgement about who will win in November before the debates (it's like trying to predict the outcome of a football game late in the 2nd quarter).

Gallup continues to narrow.......McCain had a nice bounce but its trailing off now. And yesterday, Gallup had McCain at 48%......apparently they changed it overnite.

koan:

"Whomever wrote the piece below says they are a life long Republican and then goes on to excoriate Obama and the dems for not getting it.

My comment would be that anyone who has been a lifelong Republican doesn't get it at all and I would be suspect of anything they said!

The Republicans didn't just become nasty, clueless and beat up the poor and middle class starting with bush. They have been that way since Hooover!!

?: "As I have posted so many times, Obama is a stubborn, hard headed guy who thinks that because of his intelligence and his highly educated from the prestigous Harvard law school, graduated magna cum laude, he knows how to handle his campaign and how to tackle Sarah Palin and the lies of John McCain.

OBAMA DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE! He does not have the experience of dirty political campaign. He knows the theories as taught in school, but real live mud slinging campaign he never had to face. And he ignores the advice of Senior Democrats.

I am life long Republican, and want Obama in office. I want to kick out the neocons. BUT I KNOW THAT I AM ASKING TOO MUCH. So much for thinking that the Democrats have the guts to face neocons. THEY DON'T. TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

I AM DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET THAT OBAMA IS LOST AGAINST SARAH PALIN.

This is just like the San Diego Chargers: Super Bowl? Next year. Next Year.

A Democrat in the WH? Not 2009, but maybe 2013 or 2017 or never. They act like the bunch who cannot shoot straight.

DISAPPOINTED, yes, DISAPPOINTED!

Don't believe what you read in the Telegraph

Their foreign reporting used to be excellent, but the whole paper has gone downhill over the last few years. They've always had a slightly bizarre affinity for the loony tendency in the Republican party, but this year their reporting might as well be derived directly from Fox News.

I prefer this advice:

Obama must maintain the high road. He must keep insisting that the McCain-Palin camp has no new policies to offer on the most critical issues we face, especially in foreign policy. And he must carefully and relentlessly explain what he intends to do. If he does that and refuses to take the bait, he will win. If he descends into the foul sewer where McCain now resides, he will lose...
You can't beat these thugs and liars at their own game. Beat them at the task of government. They are unfit for it. Obama is not.
