If McCain has already reformed Washington, as the ad claims, why does it now need to be changed?

My reaction exactly. He has been there forever, firmly entrenched in the power structure, but none of the bad results fall on his doorstep, and suddenly he will be a huge agent for change?

How? With the huge new Republican congressional majority he will sweep in with him? Through his vast personal charisma and national popularity?

We are headed for another 50.x% logjam.

I just saw the ad. It is beyond odd. It is bizarre. They are obviously aiming for the naive, simple minded voters. Probably a smart strategy, since many of those people don't read or pay attention to news or public affairs.
