Nigel, actually a coupla of them do earn > 250K/yr<g>..but yeah, they didn't know til late last week about McCain's health care tax when I found out.. Guns, these folks are frightened that any concession on guns is the path to their losing all of them..this is the one issue these particular folk will not budge on...they just won't..the NRA has been on a vicious fear campaign re: Obama too..categorizing him as the "most dangerous liberal the US has ever elected who's going to take your guns away"...One of these people is someone I actually call a friend versus casual email friend..His family was one of the frontier folk..owned land all around Aspen before it became Aspen..amazing stories..which is why I don't like to be painted with "bleeding heart liberal" who knows nothing beyond her Northeast roots....couldn't be further from the truth... I've not pressed them after this Palin pick..letting the vetting process(and my informational emails) enfold...to say I was proud of them for not buying into it flooding me with pro-Palin propoganda is an understatement.......
