I think going thru the big guys/gals over at the NRA is the path to success here..I've wondered this for a long time..the NRA is vicious and ruthless..they even plant moles in the anti-gun community... The anti-gun activists have done their share of hate too..both sides have accumulated a load of hatred? and distrust over the years that's impenetrable right now..... It's going to take a dem truly gifted in diplomacy to even begin some sort of positive change..imo.. Interesting as a bleeding heart anyway, I approve of people being able to own guns..I grew up with a father who carried an unlicensed concealed gun to protect us in the Bronx...it's the sleaze factor, when it intersects with drug dealers, bootlegging factor, that I want abolished, some how....
