Thank You for that non-partisan response Any successful politician has to sell themselves. In the end though, we as a country must live with the leadership we elect. Rarely does anyone face a challenge with a happy face. As a peace time veteran (1977-1983) I have the highest regard and respect for the men and women actively serving in defense of our country. We have an all voluntary military, most of which have enlisted to serve our great nation since September 11, 2001. It is difficult for me to see objectors to a war who would never enlist while courageous men and women fight this struggle dedicated to our country and of their own volition. There is good and evil in this world and if mayhem and tyranny is not challenged by the forces of good, all will someday cower in fear of it. * * *
