All newspapers throughout the country are losing subscribers. One reason is news availability online, but there's another reason as well--readers don't view newspapers with the same credibility they did in the past. The NY Times is partly responsible for the phenomenon in both large and small cities. The majority of local newspapers use NY Times reports as their source. As a result, at every level, most newspapers smack of liberal bias.
