Tim you seem fixated on spearing the republican party any blame for this crisis when in fact they were at the helm cutting taxes and fostering easy money in a time of war and increasing defense spending. the result is splashed all over the front page! we are financially crippled. blame who you want ,but bottom line, its the pres who appoints the fed and treasury chiefs. Today these two controll the money supply.......but they dont controll monetary velocity. see" theory of money" and how velocity effects inflation and deflation
