Democrats will deny it, but they opened this new front in the culture war by their response to the Palin nomination. The mess they are in is their own fault.

I always love these lines. The Reps crank up the culture wars, yet again. And, after waiting much too long, the Dems finally begin to get their act together and work up a somewhat tepid response.

And the Reps cry foul. Those evil Dems who engage in culture wars.

What a hoot.
