How can socialists like you see the same thing over and over and still draw same wrong conclusions? Lack of Government regulation was the problem and Government regulation is the solution. It was pressuring of the financial sector by congress (and the President) to loosen their approval criteria that caused this mess. When are you ever going to learn that it's the government sticking it's nose into where it doesn't belong that gets us into trouble almost every time. What happened here is no more that government interfering in business in order to expeditiously score political points with the poor lobby......
