NUE just upped its Q guidance 15 minutes ago a fairly substantial 20% or so, PR below. It spiked, then fell back. I still think this is a great name to pick up on the cheap, even better after the most recent announcement. biz.yahoo.com

I held my nose and added a few more shares of GERDAU SA ADS (NYSE: GGB). I am not at a full position yet, but I may be able to buy more shares in the single digits if the market keeps falling. $VIX is getting pretty high at around 35, so I expect some type of short term bounce which may stabilize the current sell off. What's going on with MIC down another 12%. I am watching but holding off on buying until I sell some type of price reversal. Perhaps the market is worried about the amount of debt they carry. EKS
