It would seem that the Juniors are in trouble, the exception perhaps those few that are fully funded to production (e.g. Minefinders). Raising funds via offering is almost out of the question due to low share price/dilution. Financing would seem to be equally difficult given the destruction of lending capacity in the banking industry...I assume that those that have lending capacity will seek out opportunities that present the least risk. The seniors may pick off a few gems, but likely at much lower prices than investors anticipated. Without the opportunity to finance or sell shares, the juniors have little to bargain with.

It would seem that the seniors are in the best position to add value...unless gold runs.

Slido- good call on the entry to juniors & explorers. SMC is up 40-50% since your post on Monday. These were just liquidated since July. I think we see lots of doubles on this move.

HUI rolling over right on schedule for the afternoon smackdown. Let's see if the HUI can close over 320 and hold. Then off to the races.

The best buying/re-entry opportunities will come...

When those that know it best, love it least,
because they've been disappointed most.

And so it was...

Not bad for 5 days work - a double in SMC.

And our "thinly traded questionable equity" RIC hasn't done too badly either.

We thought it was a rather "safe" laggard...

First resistance is HUI 370-380, and then former cycle high of 401.

Both could easily be taken out by weeks end.

Nothing like having a one trillion dollar wind at your back....
