I have a more personal relationship with Ramtron other than a few conversations with Lee Brown and the COB.

When my mother's failing health became a prime concern, I had
to step in and as an only child assume responsibility for her.
She had been self sufficient after my father died in 1965. But dementia had hit her with a vengeance. She taught school until she was 92, and was a remarkable resource for a history buff. She was careful with her money except she had a neighbor that sold her a bunch of annuities for her retirement when she was 90. I cashed them in and bought a number of bonds plus several thousand shares of Ramtron. We were fortunate that Ramtron went on its tear and I sold her out between 28 and 32. My wife did her income taxes and we took the paperwork for my Mother to sign. When she saw what her income was for the year, she still had sense enough to realize she had a large chunk of money and wanted to go buy a new car.

That money from Ramtron stock took care of my mother's final years in nursing homes. She lived to 97. My Ramtron bought the lot I built my dream home on and Rambus paid for everything else. I cannot wake up and not be reminded of what Ramtron and Rambus did for my mother, my wife and I. I was very, very lucky.
