I hit 220 on Sunday which was my marriage weight 20 years ago. Down about 10 lbs a year from the high of 263 4 years ago. Got very serious this last several months after my blood test.

233.4! down from 236.1. A 29.6BMI. That's 1.7 pounds for the week. Surprised me again, I didn't feel like I had lost an ounce. I am 13 pounds below 7 weeks ago, and 21 below the first of the year. If I can average a pound a week, I am 40 weeks away from my goal of 195, a 25BMI. I am getting smug when I see fat people now. :>)

This change in eating habits is working for me because:

1) I like what I am eating. If I had to do it on salads, I would fail.

2) The two fruit smoothies I have each day really help.

3) Munching on nuts between meals to cut any hunger works.

4) I don't feel hungry.

My BP was 110/60. It's holding consistently 10/15 points lower than when I started. If it drops another 10 points I will cut back on my BP meds.
