Read the papers today, Shorty, and see what damage stupid economic policies can cause. Call you pal Phil Gramm and ask him to explain why lowering the firewalls between retail, commercial and institutional banks then allowing all concerned to add on massive debt across former lines with no oversight from anybody is a really, really good idea for this Country. Republicans didn't used to think like that. They used to believe in responsible fiscal policy. What kind of Republican are you? Oh, yeah..the Bush kind. Spend, spend, spend, spend, cut taxes, cut taxes, cut taxes and then just let is all sort itself out..... Country first!
