There were more power cuts due to wind and rain than shortage of water [as it turned out]. The Greenhouse Effect is delivering a lot of cold, wet, wind and snow. I am hoping for some of the alleged heat to arrive. There is NO sign of Global Warming here, other than fanatical politicians who have passed laws on emissions trading which will cost NZers a load of money while China, USA, India etc go on producing CO2 unabated. I doubt that NZ will save the world even if we go back to ponga huts and feather cloaks.
