The english word "expectation" has different meanings. You used it two ways, and argued that therefore there was some connection between these two disparate fields (faith and QM). Just because words have multiple uses does not mean the subjects we use them with are necessarily somehow related. If you want to look for connections, you must look at the details, then you will see how the words should be chosen differently, or have different meanings in the different cases.
