Thanks for providing that link again.

I would like to point out, for the benefit of ManyMoose, that although the link is to the Huffington Post, the story is from the Associated Press Newswire service, and names specific authoritative sources in Alaska.

Notably, Alaska State Troopers name Palin's borough, not just the city of Wasilla, as the "methamphetamine capital of Alaska."

The story is not just a liberal smear job, despite the URL.

For the convenience of those who may have passed on reading the story because they felt the source was biased, here's the link again.

By the way, the current official Palin camp explanation for the firing of the Commissioner for Public Safety is that he wanted to add more troopers and give them up to date equipment, while Palin wanted to cut the budget instead. It seems that given the prevalence of meth labs in the state, the Commissioner may have had the right idea.
