I am not talking about a huge move here. I am scalping here and there and think there is a decent chance of the gap closing today and possible more. You may be right about the VIX, as I said in a post yesterday, it is a nebulous indicator.

Are you playing anything short?

nice action in the miners here today: daily charts show 3 waves up off the lows so far, but lots of volume coming in here is nice as well as divergence with the broad market
bearish case: this is C of abc off the lows. bullish case: we are starting the much ballyhooed but seldom seen 3 of 3
