I don't think inflation is going to be a consistent 5 and a half percent for 5 years. (I will however say that's its certainly not impossible). Of course there where other raises to get to 5.85 (but then you have to add other years, but with lower inflation). It was $5.15 in 2007.

And that was the least important of the points in my post.
