I'm not confusing anything, I addressed both monetary issues, and bailouts, and having a lot of regulations. Mistakes in the first, or having either of the others can be quite problematic.

You missed the important point. We are AWASH in regulation designed not to allow the abuses that lead a system into crisis. All they do is add cost to the system and have done NOTHING to protected us from the crisis you are so aware of.
