As for lack of enforcement of regulation, well as I've pointed out the regulatory enforcement budgets have continued to increase. Also this particular case has never been all that well enforced, and in any case isn't the type of action that's seriously effected the overall economic or financial situation in the US.

You might come up with a better example, but the main point would be the same. In isolation some point might not be well enforced, but there are always going to be some points that aren't well enforced when you have as much regulation and legislation as we do. More regulation only increases the extent that such things happen.

Meanwhile overall regulation grows year after year, and overall enforcement also continues to grow, if not as steadily.

Your ideology has ruled this country for the last 35 years.

Nonsense. There wasn't a single second in the past 35 years where we have had a libertarian system or very low levels of regulation.
