It's called money guilt, but Democrats not only don't believe in trickle down economics, they also don't believe in trickle down taxes. As Fred Thompson said, Democrats promise you they won't take water out of your side of the bucket.

It does make me wonder just why all the VERY wealthiest people in the country ARE Democrats (Gates, Allen, Jobs, Buffett, and many in Hollywood)…

They already have more money than anyone can spend or intelligently give away during a lifetime. For these people, a stronger imperative than keeping their own money is preventing the merely very rich from joining their ranks among the very, VERY rich. What better way to accomplish the latter objective than to elect a Democrat?
