It's the boat that rescued George Bush from the water in WWII.

Proud heritage, indeed.

They had already house broken my ship by the time I got on...Something about shooting the boat towing the target barge and a Captain that enjoyed dropping a grenade(s) on sea creatures that had the nerve to surface.....minor stuff. We were all milk & cookies....lol....Is there a statute of limitations provision in the UCMJ????

On a serious note, hats off to you guys on the subs. Proud of you.

I talked to an old diesel/electric submariner years ago. He said they could stay submerged around 24 hours, but it was bad. They would be spreading CO2 absorbent and the scrubbers couldn’t keep up. Of course they had to hot bunk.
