You might be satisfied with half a loaf - it didn't need to be that way...........and still doesn't.

There's nothing wrong with being satisfied with half a loaf when a full loaf is unfeasible and no loaf is looming.

It seems to me that safe private travel to places like Iraq went "poof" on 9/11, just like the WTC. If you know of some mechanism that would have restored full-loaf mode at that time, please share. I sure can't think of one. Safe private to lots of places became a thing of the past and of the future, not of the present, regardless of response, IMO. I know my plans for visiting the ME have been on indefinite hold since that day. And would probably still be on hold today no matter what action was or was not taken.
