"3:25 Dodd says he hasn't seen SEC action on short-selling"

Come one, depends on what the definition of action is.

Is turning a blind eye, deaf ear, looking the other way, winking and nodding, yelling that abuses don't exist, and making a decision to ignore the whole issue a form of action? see there is action. Action to work hard at doing nothing except protecting the status quo and their systematic looting of the small investor/small development stage companies.

I posted long ago that it would take a market collapse for the SEC to finally recognize the significance of this problem, rather than listening to the self-styled "crusading cyber sleupps" who claimed this was a tinfoil wearers' claimed conspiracy.

As they try to stem the collapse,

{from briefing.com}

The SEC issued a new short-selling rule, which will apply to all public companies. Rules are tightened, requiring a firm to deliver securities by the settlement date, according to reports

hmmmm - isn't that the way it's supposed to be????
