Once again we are on opposite sides of the health care insurance podium.

We are. And I don't see a bridge. A political bridge, that is. I see a nifty potential meshing of the Obama and McCain proposals, but no way to get there.

BTW, I got a survey in the mail yesterday from a firm on behalf of my primary care physician. Apparently she is considering starting a boutique practice.

She is a gerontologist and GP, so I think this inquiry provides some insight into the strains of conducting a practice loaded with government-care patients.
