That is total hogwash! lol I suppose if you have the Rolls Royce of systems maybe.

Tanning beds can cost up to $35,000 to install in a home

However, to remind you, many people suffer from seasonal depression in Alaska during the reduced sunlight for long periods. Tanning beds are a well known therapy for depression due to the reduction of sunlight hours.

It happens to people in Philadelphia too. Also many animals exhibit depressed behavior during winter.

One of the President's installed a bowling alley in the White House. Another installed movie theatre.

Lady Bird Johnson planted the Rose Garden.

The Senate and Congress have exercise facilities.

So what's the big deal about a Governor having a tanning bed in the Governor's residence.? Personal choice.

If I lived in Alaska with the cold winters they have, I would want a tanning bed also.

Of course Obama doesn't need a tanning bed---he would more likely want a basket ball court or an expensive workout room with a personal trainer.
