Interesting debate you got going with the Deflation guru these days..lol Of course he still doesn't get what really causes inflation (monetary expansion/demand pull) and that the housing/credit collapse was due to a misallocation of capital in 2004-06 that when corrected will only further fuel inflationary pressures on recovery... Someone built a house or bought a house for $300k with 25% down then sells if for only $150k on the recent crash with both he and the bank absorbing the loss of $150k.. What happened to the original $300k that went into circulation? It is still out there.. What a farce this deflation argument has become and the events this week make it more so due to the future ramifications.. he forgets conveniently we aren't playing under the same rules as during Hoover's day with our leaders ensuring an end game that is the exact opposite..
