Nobody is paying attention to the abortion issue in the midst of a huge financial crisis.

I saw her on Larry King. She did a very good job and simply asks for her right to live which I would be interested in seeing people argue against.

She stated, had the Dr. that had performed the abortion been on duty when the nurse discovered she was still breathing, she would have been killed. She is thankful he was not and that the nurse had her rushed to a hospital. She suffers cerebal palsy because of the abortion, but is a fascinating person.

It is good to put a living face to abortions.

This 31 year old woman is being very brave in putting out her personal story and the story of others who lived despite botched abortions.

The statement of Obama's Campaign is the most garbled excuse written in political history. And, it is a lie----Obama has stated otherwise, early in his campaign.

He stated clearly and directly that "If my daughters should make a mistake I would want to know that they would not have to live with that mistake and be able to you know get something done."

Obama is here because his teanage Mom did not abort him------and now he advocates that well if my daughters should make a mistake I would want them to be able to get something done.

"The recent attacks on Senator Obama that allege he would allow babies born alive to die are outrageous lies. The suggestion that Obama -- the proud father of two little girls -- and others who opposed these bills supported infanticide is deeply offensive and insulting. There is no room for these kinds of distortions and lies in this campaign. What Senator Obama’s attackers don’t tell you is that existing Illinois law already requires doctors to provide medical care in the very rare case that babies are born alive during abortions. They will not tell you that Obama voted against these laws in Illinois because they were clear attempts to undermine Roe v. Wade. They will not tell you that these laws were also opposed by pro-choice Republicans and the Illinois Medical Society -- a leading association of doctors in the state. And they will not tell you that Obama has always maintained that he would have voted for the federal version of this bill, which did not pose such a threat. The bills Senator Obama voted against in Illinois were crafted to undermine Roe v. Wade or pre-existing Illinois state law regulating reproductive healthcare and medical practice, which is why Senator Obama objected to them."

The bottom line is that if Roe v Wade is not representative of the current laws governing abortion then Roe V Wade needs to be revisited. It's long overdue.
