The Uruguay-Finland Cellulosa and Paper Axis..

We just closed another cellulosa brewery and another paper plant.. maybe mainly for at least two reasons.

- production should be as close as possible (pissable) to the consumer markets (same reason as for the Nokia factories around the world, althouhg they additionally include the reason "factory, R&D and marketing, but not necessary sales, should be locally and within shouting distance")

- the "internet" has and is now, finally, actually decreasing the markets for newspaper paper (in the "west"??).

R&D timing problem, the "smart paper", capable to wirelessly work as display for a mobile phone will still take some years to develope (embedding those smart chips, antennas, and then coating the paper with small things which can change color)

PS THe cellulosa brewery in Urugay just reported that it produced more cellulosa at a lower price than anticipated..
Some Argentinians said "additionally it has not smelled at all".
I guess Argentine is ready for building a paper-plant because they have the electricity (at least the possibilities of it) which Uruguay does not have (and which is not needed to produce cellulosa, now basically a closed system in terms of energy and hopefully smell and poisons).

PPS Luckily a modern cellulosa and paper factory only (directly) needs some handfuls of employee, with probably one of the highest revenue/employee numbers in most industries.
